To relocate an off-network asset:

1. Click the Start Sptials Edits button and select the layer of the asset you will be relocating. Click Start Spatial Edits.
2. Click the Edit Asset button .
3. Click the asset to be relocated and click the Show Attributes button on the radial context menu. The Edit Assets dialog opens. Click the Locations tab.

   

4. If the asset has a projected network location as well as an off network shape then you can click the Network Location button, select the layer that the locations are on in the Show Locations On menu, and go on to Step 6.
   Note: The choice between on-network and off-network locations will only be displayed when an asset type is configured to have both types. It will not be displayed if you select a completely off network asset type.

5. Click the Off-Network Location button to show the independent geometry in Well-Known Text, as in the image below:

   

6. You have two ways to update the off network location of an asset record, Relocate and Reshape:
   • Click Relocate to move the whole geometry, then click on the feature and drag it to a new location. Click Save shape.

     

     A success message appears briefly onscreen.

     

   • Click Reshape to change the shape of the geometry. You can click an existing vertex (square) and move it or click in between vertices to create a new vertex. Click Save shape. A success message appears briefly onscreen.
